Ari’s back.

After a relatively quiet year, Dreamville singer Ari Lennox is back with her brand new single, “Get Close”.

In the accompanying music video, the D.M.V. songstress cozies up with her man and sings the pleasures of love.

“You like Tupac, I like Janet / So damn stubborn, I won’t have it,” she seductively sings. “I laugh at it, boobies grab it / Take a road trip, screw the planning,” she continues before taking it to the bridge.

“Nothing to do in this summer / Pulse is pounding like Questlove’s drums / Like a lily upon my thumb / Sugar toffee tanned in sun.”

“Get Close” marks Ari Lennox’s first official music since last year’s critically-acclaimed, album age/sex/location. Since then, she collaborated with Babyface on “Liquor” from his Girls Night Out album.
