Legendary rocker John Fogerty has unveiled plans for his highly anticipated ‘The Legacy Tour,’ set to take place during the fall of 2025. Running from August through November across North America, the tour will bring fans an unforgettable live experience, filled with the iconic hits of Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR) that made Fogerty a household name. The tour promises to be a celebration of his remarkable career and the timeless music that continues to resonate with generations of fans.
Fogerty, now 80 years old, will revisit some of CCR’s most memorable tracks, many of which have become synonymous with the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll. Fans can expect re-recorded versions of classic CCR anthems such as “Proud Mary,” “Fortunate Son,” and “Born on the Bayou,” all of which will be featured on his new album, Legacy: The Creedence Clearwater Revival Years (John’s Version). The album and tour highlight the enduring power of these songs and provide a fresh take on the tunes that defined the late ’60s and early ’70s rock scene.
The tour will make stops in major cities across North America, but two performances in New Jersey stand out for fans in the region. On Halloween night, October 31, Fogerty will perform at the Etess Arena in Atlantic City, followed by a show at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on November 12. These special performances will give fans a chance to experience CCR’s hits live, in an intimate setting, while also celebrating the rock legend’s legacy.

Joining Fogerty on stage for this monumental tour is Hearty Har, a Los Angeles-based band that brings a new dimension to the classic Fogerty sound. Hearty Har was formed by none other than Fogerty’s sons, Shane and Tyler Fogerty, adding a personal touch to the performances. Their involvement brings a multi-generational flair to the music, allowing Fogerty’s legacy to live on through the next generation of musicians.
Before embarking on The Legacy Tour, Fogerty will also take the stage at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, scheduled for September 19-20, 2025. The festival will feature a stellar lineup of artists, including Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5, and serves as a precursor to the larger tour, setting the stage for what promises to be a remarkable fall tour.
John Fogerty’s The Legacy Tour is set to be a powerful reminder of the lasting influence of Creedence Clearwater Revival and one of rock’s most enduring voices. With a mix of nostalgia, fresh interpretations, and family involvement, the tour will undoubtedly be a milestone for both long-time fans and new listeners discovering Fogerty’s music for the first time.
